"Preserving The Past, Preparing For The Future" Stamping Ground has a commission style government. Every two years, four commissioners are elected to serve as the public's voice in government. Every four years, a mayor is elected to oversee the commission. Elected in 2004, the current mayor is proudly serving out his term, and the commisioners elected in 2006 are here to serve our community.
